Bike the Limits!
In addition to our normal 3rd Friday rides, we are gearing up for the “Bike The Limits” ride. This ride will feature 30, 60, and 100 Mile options.
Details are shaping up but we need your help to test portions of the ride. Your involvement is helpful in getting us ready for what is sure to be a STELLAR RIDE.
Please join us for the 3rd Test Ride. We will be riding the last 40 miles of the 100 mile route (Hellyer Park to Coyote Valley to Almaden). This will be a challenging route – please view the facebook page for more info.
- March 28, 2010
- Start 10 AM
- Start and end at Hellyer Velodrome
- Turn by turn directions

I’ll be out there on Sunday. I plan on riding the 60 mile route. Anyways, I’m pumped about the ride and looking forward to this 1st Test Ride.
Can someone from the SJBP email me some info. about this Sunday as it comes along. Thanks

@LaVics – sent — we’re only doing the first 30+ miles Sunday… contact Ryan or Yoshi, they’ll probably be doing another “informal/unpublicized” test ride of the 31-60mile route.

Hey B C, I agree. It is nice to have a large turnout for our test rides. I think they are great. Different then the large Friday night rides but just as much fun. I like your new name too!
See ya soon, BIKE PARTY ROCKS!

Great ride – if you’ve never been on a long bike ride or are concerned about biking with so many riders… try the test rides and this Bike The Limits ride. You’ll fall in love with biking all over again. And surprise yourself how you can ride 25-30+ miles!

Wow, great pacing in that front group today. The computer read 19 to 22 mph for quite a while. We probably want to have way shorter breaks on the actual 30/60/100 ride.
Here are some pics of todays test ride.

I think I saw you guys today – I was on an orange and white Cannondale making a left where the tracks cross @ Race before Fruitdale. I was planning on going, but time constraints conflicted as I read the rest stops planned… I’ll try my damn hardest to be @ the 60 and Century rides though!
