Join The Earth Ride

City of San José Environmental Services, San José Bike Party, Silicon Valley Bike Coalition are coming together for a fantastic Ride.

Celebrate Earth Month and the recent passage of Climate Smart San José at the San José Earth Ride. The 13-mile, fun and family-friendly bike ride will visit sites showcasing what the City and residents are doing to create a low-carbon city. Explore the city while learning what San José is doing to become a climate leader.

Saturday, April 28 at San José City Hall

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

9 -10 AM: Check-in, plus free bike inspections and maintenance by San Jose Bike Clinic

10:15 AM: Wheels hit the road!

1- 3 PM: Post-ride celebration at City Hall with food trucks, live music, and environmental resources.

Please note: 

  • Bikes will not be provided for the ride; there is a bike share station located at City Hall. 
  • Registration, signed liability waiver, and a helmet are required for participation.
  • Bring a reusable water bottle, a snack or two, and a smile! We’ll ride at a comfortable pace, and most stops will have restrooms and water fountains/refill stations.
