GiDM’s going north
GiDM, also known as Guerillaz in Da Mixx is headed north this weekend; riding with the Sunset Crew in the East Bay. Ride starts at Berkeley’s Ashby BART station this Saturday, July 12th at 6 pm. For those of you not familiar with GiDM rides, the rides are shorter focusing mainly on music and dancing. After a one stop ride GiDM rides park their bikes for a night of music and dancing under the stars.
Bullet – Featuring Jake Mackey to be featured on July’s Stars and Stripes Ride
Were decided to give the DJ a July summer vacation. This month we will have a band in his place. Come check out the local band Bullet with Jake Mackey. The four man band will be playing rock to reggae and everything in between.
Silicon Valley Bikes – Passion, Innovation and Politics since 1870 presented by History San Jose
Mark your calendar for this big day of cycling celebration. Open day of a new History San Jose museum exhibit on the history of cycling in San Jose, along with Shiny Side Up Bike Show and workshops on women’s cycling and classes for ladies on bicycle repair. Also old time bicycle racers will be on hand to give a first hand account of the history of bicycle racing in San Jose. See here for more details.

Come join us on Wednesday, July 30 for one in a series of Movies in the Park. San Jose Bike Party is partnering with the San Jose Downtown Association to bring you “Pee Wee’s Big Adventure†on the big screen in St. James Park.
Watch as Pee-Wee Herman sets out across the U.S. on the adventure of his life to retrieve his beloved bike, which was stolen from him in broad daylight. This was Tim Burton’s directorial debut and a stepping stone for Paul Reubens and composer Dany Elfman.
Ride your bike to the movie on a San Jose Bike Party mini ride. Details to be announced later.
