Don’t Forget DST starts this weekend (spring forward)!!!

By Leo Postovoit
SJBP would like to invite you to ride with Andrew Montague, the 342nd Lord Mayor of Dublin, as well as council members, and other notables from our City Hall as we take a slow tour of what we love about cycling in our fair city and hopefully introduce them to what Bike Party is all about.
Bring your friends and family but most importantly bring your Music trailer. Everyone should be prepared for a leisurely paced ride that starts and stops at City Hall.
Click the more link below for a reminder of how we ride and details on the event
How We Ride
If you follow these eight rules, Bike Party will be safe and a positive place for riders, drivers, pedestrians, and the community.
Agenda & Timelines
- 9:30 AM Dublin Mayor arrives …meet, greet and photo ops.
- 10:00 Wheels hit the Street.
Route information
- Printable Turn by Turn
- Zoomable Online Route 7.8 miles
Feeder rides
Feeder rides are a great way to get to Bike Party They allow you to make great friends and get to know people who live near you. They also make it super easy to get back home as a group as most folks ride home with the group they arrived with. You save the planet and save on parking while getting a little bit more exercise. It’s all good.

Just wanted to mention, there’s a race from HP pavillion to Santana Row that same morning. They should be cleared out before the bike ride begins, but there may be street closures.

If there is anyone out there that could create some ride art for this occasion,
I’d love to be able to make some spoke cards to give away.
A little something for the Lord Mayor to take back to Dublin and remember us by.

A big Thank You to the volunteer that created the ride art. Looks great!
Unfortunately I don’t think it was on the SJBP web site yesterday afternoon and it takes time for me to print and cut the cards.
Fortunately, I can easily include them in the scavenger hunt for the March ride.
.
Please, please, please, if you have the ride art for the March Irish Ride, make it available this afternoon so I can load the ‘fliers’ today and get them to my co-workers to put up on Monday. I’m swamped at work and this evening is the last available time I’ll have for several days. These are free spoke cards and I think most everybody will have fun with the scavenger hunt.

Thanks Ian!
I know, we’re all volunteers.
Without a doubt, one reason I love making spoke cards is because all the different artists show shuch awesome talent! And now that I can give the cards away for free and have a fun way to do it, I guess I’m just a little *too* excited. Ok, I’ll settle down now.
