Reflections – The Formal Ride

Last Friday, a large number of riders fully embraced the spirit of SJ Bike Party by dancing & dressing in their “formal” wear, from elegant to zany. Reflections – Space vs Cowboys

Last winter saw virtually no rain on our rides, whilst this year is quite the opposite. However, after pouring off and on all Friday during the day, it turned out to be a beautifully clear night. The 80 adventurous riders that braved the weather were rewarded with a fun and challenging ride experience. Music was present from a few brave souls and a great spirit was abound. January provided San Jose Bike Party clear skies and a full moon while the 20+ mile ride navigated streets in South SJ. One volunteer counted about 1200 riders leaving the starting location at the now defunct Capitol 16 movie theaters.
