The cross dresser ride will take place this Friday, September 18 at 8:00 PM (leaving at 8:30)
We have an exciting ride this Friday! It will explore places we have never been and go farther than we normally go!
Variety is the spice of life, so we’re starting in Santa Clara, with two “Ride to Bike Party!!” groups leaving downtown SJ and downtown Campbell. We are posting the route this Thursday.
Some interesting aspects of the ride this Friday:
* A great mix of scenery, roads, people and a smooth 24 (feels like 16-18) mile ride.
* Among the best start, regroups and ending points we’ve ever had!
* Located near common major work areas! Bike to work!
* Lots of restaurants nearby to eat before the ride, plentiful parking nearby for $2.

Hmm, sounds like a challenge for some riders! What is the meet up/roll out time? Will is be a usual 8:00PM meet/8:30 roll out? I’m concerned because I get off work @ 7:15 in Milpitas. Thanks!

There seems to be some concern about
this Friday’s location. Yes, it’s a bit out
there, but it’s not that bad! It’s really cool
actually!!!
If you have a car, drive over Friday and
grab some dinner before the ride.
(unless you want a long ride, then ride)
This is one time you shouldn’t feel guilty
about driving. Where we’ll have you park,
there is plenty…
If you don’t have a car…. ride over to Santa Clara and
carpool with someone back or take light rail back at the
end of the ride… or take light rail both ways.
But if you must take light rail, I’d strongly suggest that
you come early, between 5-6pm or so and get
some great food nearby.

Last time we overloaded VTA’s system! VTA is not
designed to take 600 bikes in 2 hrs! Please help out
by only taking VTA if you do not have a car…
(my suggestion, not official, lol)

And last months was Beach blanket babylon, which is essentially a cross dressing drag queen musical in sf.

This will be my first ride riding with the bike party, any recommendations? Anything I should know about it? I heard its AWESOME but that people seriously take it like a huge party but on bikes?? Im just going for the ride!

comfortable seat, bike shorts (can wear under your shorts), lots of water, eat a lot for breakfast and dinner, munch all day, bring snacks… have a lot of fun, bring cameras and videos… and don’t drink alcohol pref.
personally i’m going early to eat at one of the 20 places listed there… if you’re taking light rail
you could ride back to dt SJ or dt Campbell at the end of the night.. there will be a lot that will do that!
