The ride returns to the start. Street parking usually isn’t hard to find just north of City Hall, and I believe most meters are free after 6pm (just a quarter or two might be enough to get you to 6pm). http://www.sjdowntownparking.com/ is also a good resource.

Lynn, one suggestion would be to park at the CalTrain station and ride over from there.
