If you're going to ride through a residential area with all your music cranked to eleven, do it IN THE DAYTIME, and not at 11:30pm. PLEASE.

After driving past numerous riders this evening, I was very disappointed to see how few were wearing helmets and how few had lighting on their cycles. Perhaps adding that to the safety rules as well as mentioning it at the beginning of each ride would be a way to help the bike party act more safely.

I appreciate that the organizers of this event are trying to minimize the impact on traffic flow by getting the bikes all in the right lane. However, this guideline is not being followed consistently by your members. I was just driving west on El Camino, and people were veering out into the center lane quite frequently, causing several near-collisions. Additionally, one joker thought it would be a great idea to ride his bike in the left lane, blocking cars from using that lane as well. A little more consistency in following the rules would be appreciated by others on the road.

Thanks in advance.
