The guy who's been making the banners for the rides (nice job by the way) needs to make on for the S&M ride. I wont have a spoke card to make for this ride.

With the recent issues of bikes and cars sharing the roads, maybe S&M stands for: Smash & Mash
or
Squished & Mangled

SteveSgt - If you are referring to my posts you are mistaken about me being offended, compared to some of the exotic erotic balls I've been to I imagine this will be relatively tame. However I still feel it is inappropriate for bike party to have such an in-your-face adult theme while rolling through neighorhoods, especially given how the website says: "Help us to make the ride more family-friendly."

Bike party has become large through the years and has community impact, through the publicity that gets generated as well as to the neighorhood that we ride through.

For the former I do not care to have my colleagues and non-riding friends perceive bike party as an exotic erotic activity and by extension my participation in it as a rider and a bird. As to impact on neighorhoods, I do not imagine parents with young kids are going to appreciate stepping into a 'teachable moment' when they go outside with their kids to wave at all the riders as they go by, one reason why I do not care to be riding next to someone that is dressed for S&M.

Since this is supposed to be fun this bird won't be participating on this ride, but have fun everyone and I wish you all the best - I'll still go to this ride's test rides which are lots of fun too :)

Honestly, I was a bit confused with this months bike party title. I thought it infered a ride with hills and mud, rocks and wild animals. Just extreme, brutal. I emphasize brutal. I'll take it as artistic and poetic as possible. It is a surprise and kind of Jackass, as in the movie/show. I'll own this.
