November’s Bike Party will be Friday the 21st at 8:30pm. This month’s theme? Michael Jackson! Yes, that’s right – old Michael, new Michael, whichever it is, you dress it, we’ll play it.

This month, bring out your broomsticks! We’ll start and end this ride with a brief trial of broom bike polo. For an idea of how the rules might look, check out this list of rules from NYC Bike Polo.

Remember to bring a broom to play bike polo!
You can tie it to your top tube with string, rubber bands, shoelaces, or bungee cords! Just make it extend way out over your back wheel, it won’t get in your way like that.

Are photos from the rides ever made available on this site? At the November ride, a guy took photos from on top of the baseball backstop at Backesto Park; I’d love to get ahold of those photos.
The site has just gotten off the ground, so we’re still figuring out how it should be used. If people have a strong desire for a photo-sharing element, we may be able to add that. Otherwise, it’s pretty easy to post links to pictures in comments like here.
