The Orange Ride

When: Apr 16 2021 8:00PM – 11:00PM

Where: San Jose California

Who: San Jose Bike Party

It’s not quite the bike party we know and love, but it’s gonna be a great ride anyway. We want you to don your orangest attire in honor of Santa Clara County’s “Orange Tier” designation, dust off your orangest bike, pop on your mask, and head out on sprawling joyride of a loop.

This is the route that never ends!! We’ve plotted out a route with no set beginning, no designated end, and no stops in the middle. Pick the spot most convenient for you and start pedaling, whichever direction you choose! Ride it once, ride it 5 times. Ride a portion of it to go get tacos!

Light your bikes, turn up the tunes, and wave to your bike party fam as you pedal past each other on the route! How many clusters of bike party peeps will you find on your ride?

We’re missing the tacos and the music and the costumes and the smiles, but we’re eager to get back out on our bikes and party with all of you as soon as we’re safely able to. In the meantime: wear your mask, keep at least a tandem bike’s distance away from folks you don’t live with, and let’s go ride!

Having a great time and want to help? We’re always looking for volunteers to help guide riders at corners or to handle other tasks. Talk to any of the “BIRDs” (look for the “bird” logo!) for details. Or you head over to our Donation Page.
